Ashley–
WHAT a distance you’ve come from your initial ideas about this project! I think your decision to pose the fictional, theoretical concept of a cyborg against real life examples (Audre Lorde’s challenge to the use of breast prostheses is particularly striking), and then to ask whether those uses constitute a form of “passing” makes all the questions much more powerful.
I’m realizing how many more dimensions there are to discuss in multi-media presentations, than in conventional papers. I’m curious about your choice of music (a little too schmaltz-y for my taste…tell me what you were aiming for?). I also noticed that the video and sound seemed to cut off too quickly–I wasn’t ready for it to end!
