get that nice white nose WITHOUT THE SURGERY!!

this is fine, right? no surgery involved, right?

Though Eve Pearl may be a 5-time Emmy award winning make-up artist (make-up artists win Emmys?), her “ground-breaking” make-up application still holds similar heavy undertones of something being inherently wrong with the African or African-American nose, small breasts, and Asian or Asian-American eyelids (plenty more of her videos on youtube, pictures on…). Pearl is definitely on the “if you can’t beat em, join em” train. There’s something fishy going on here…. I think its called the promotion of societal racism.

My favorite part of this is the lyric in the music near the end: “Living in your own skin / Got to be yourself / Ain’t nobody else!”

Rebecca: I would say that surgery of -any- kind is unnatural … and by saying I also don’t intend to imply a judgement on whether it’s right or wrong. Unnatural, in this context, means that it’s not part of the body provided to an individual by nature. So, tattoos, ear piercings, and haircuts (hair doesn’t cut itself!) also count as “unnatural”.

Does anybody have a better word? I feel like there should be one …
